Disconnect a social account
- Sign in to AtoPost and open Connections.
- Choose the platform and select Disconnect.
- For additional control, revoke AtoPost from that platform’s own app or security settings.
Disconnecting prevents new publishing requests to that account; an action already submitted to the platform may still complete. Existing posts on the social platform are not automatically deleted, and disconnecting does not cancel an AtoPost subscription or automatically delete previously stored data.
For YouTube, you can also revoke access through your Google account security permissions. Request deletion of stored platform data using the email process below.
Delete your AtoPost account
- Email info@atopost.com from the email associated with your account.
- Tell us whether you want to delete the whole account, a workspace, or data from a particular connected platform. Identify the relevant workspace and account. Do not send passwords or payment credentials.
- Complete any reasonable identity and authority verification we request. If you cannot access the account email, explain that in your request so we can discuss verification options.
What deletion covers
After identity verification, we will delete or de-identify eligible account details, workspace instructions, brand assets, generated content, stored social credentials, and associated platform data. Limited records may be retained when required for billing, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Processing time
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Shorter applicable legal or platform deadlines take precedence; any permitted extension will be explained. We will confirm the outcome by email, including applicable retention exceptions. Backup copies may remain until normal rotation subject to applicable requirements. Records independently held by social platforms or payment providers are subject to their own deletion controls.
Billing and published content
Cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal as well, or tell us in your deletion request if you need help stopping future renewals. A deletion request does not automatically remove published social posts. Remove those posts directly on the platform if needed.
